anyhow, i was watching a tv programme the other day about nature following the second law of thermodynamics and i realised that everything around us breaks down, everything wears, things that move generate friction, the tendancy for particles is to fall apart and "entropy" to increase, just as the universe itself will one day have no structure left as such, just randomness of elementary particles floating about and darkness.. .

I'm with you Terry, as someone once said the god of the old testament is a barbaric bully and most of the bible tell us that mankind is crap, what's that going to do to your self esteem, let's give man a chance as God is a no show, I thinks it's about time that we celebrate what we humanity have done, if it was down to the Jehovah's witnesses millions would have died from now curable illnesses and we would have no scientific careers!

I think that science generally works for mankinds benefit medically, financially and being non judgemental , religion however does all things to the contrary, actually hating man and his achievements, if it were left to religion no medical advances and disease reduction would have happened.
I can understand the religionists wish for a pollyanna world were only good things happen to good people, and that God always rewards the faithful but this is not the real world, as now evidence has ever been produced of his miracles, it seems some people will believe in almost anything as long as your not getting others to believe that stuff.
Nothing wrong with that, but religious people please come back to reality, and live your life now!!!!!

I've had enough of the good side which it seems s actually quite dark in itself and chicks would probably like a left handed scorpio with brown eyes, the darkest and sexiest of all. lol, don't tell the wife, in all fairness what I'm trying to say is the dark side of humanity any different from the Jehovahs witness crap we've all had to grow up with, the only thing I think is different is this stuff boosts your self esteem even though the whole lot is crap! i started this thread because some people are telling lies in another thread about the tea party.. i am one of the volunteers that helps arrange and put on tea party rallies in southern mississippi.
we do not have a membership roll.. we are not a political party.. we have one basic issue that we are addressing, which is: we want federal spending to be lower than federal revenues.
we do not say how this is to be achieved.. some liars on this site are claiming that the tea parties are actively pushing to achieve the balanced budget by cutting only liberal policies.
Hey you think you've got it bad our previous government with Gordon Brown and his cronies, borrowing from the world bank, on a orgy of spending that could not be sustained, they have really shafted the UK, and now we have to live within our means, the Labour party spend, spend, spend without any idea of how to pay it back, and as it always seems to be with our country the conservatives with David Cameron have to fix the last governments crap!!!!

why do feel i need validation, that no matter what good deeds i perform, i work as a care assistant for the elderly i've never felt that i am a good man, that the jehovah's witnesses would say that now i not part of their organization that i am a bad person, i only require a feeling that i on the right track to help people, it seems sad to me that more help i provide for the less able i feel worthless, i would appreciate your comments!.
